Fr. Eugene (Gene) Zimmerman, SJ

Fr. Gene, who was on staff at JRH for eight years, died Thursday, April 19, 2007 in the evening at St. Camillus Jesuit Community in Milwaukee. He was 88. Many know Fr. Gene from his greeting them upon arrival for retreats and through his administering the sacrament during the Healing Service. He was a gentle, holy man who loved this ministry and prayed often for the retreatants.

Fr. Oscar (Ben) Benzinger

Fr. Ben died November 3, 2006 after a stroke. He was 76 years of age. He had been on a sabbatical here at Jesuit Retreat House for one year and had been assigned to be in part-time ministry here shortly before he died.
