Seeking hope and wisdom by stepping back from daily busyness

On the calm shores of Lake Winnebago, thousands of retreatants for the past 50 years have basked in God’s presence and love. Hope was renewed. Joy returned. A choice became clear. Gifted retreat directors have shared stories and passed on the graces of the Spiritual Exercises. They pointed retreatants toward a direct encounter with God who led them to greater intimacy with Christ and an eagerness to labor with him in service to others.

During the 2011 Jubilee Year, let us pause and take inventory of our blessings and ask ourselves: What more we can do to strengthen our shared ministry for the next fifty years?

Our vision is an accessible and self-sustaining Jesuit Retreat House (JRH) for another 50 years. In that light, the Retreat House will undertake a comprehensive campaign to preserve its mission for future generations: Celebrating the Past…Securing the Future. It will focus on improving facilities, accommodations, infrastructure and growing the endowment fund to better support retreatants, retreat directors, operations and maintenance.
