Use the Preached and Directed buttons to the left to view the schedule for the type of retreat you are interested in. Preached retreats include weekend retreats, 12-Step retreats, couples' retreats, a women's mid-week retreat, a women's Advent retreat, and a men's holy week retreat. Directed retreats take place between May and September. Use the table below to find out basic information about the different kinds of retreats. If you have questions about a retreat you may contact the retreat coordinator listed in the schedule for more information.

To register for a retreat, complete, print and mail-in the form located from the registration tab to the left. You MUST also mail in a non-refundable, non-transferable $40 reservation gift. Only after we receive your registration and room deposit can we register you. We accept reservations on a first-come, first-served basis.

You may notice that some of the retreats have "waiting list" listed as the number of open slots remaining. If you wish to attend a retreat that is currently full, please contact the Jesuit Retreat House office to ask to be put on our waiting list. Waiting list spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. You do not need to pay a registration fee to be on the waiting list. If you are on the list and a spot opens up, the office will contact you and you can decide at that time if you still wish to attend the retreat and at that point can send in your $40 reservation gift.
Please note: Retreatants who cannot arrive on time for the opening conference on Thursday evening and stay until close Sunday afternoon should re-schedule their retreat for another date when they can be present for the full retreat.

Weekend Retreats (Preached)

  • Conferences each day are based on the dynamics of Ignatian spirituality.
  • The weekend includes daily Mass, periods for private reflection and devotions, spiritual direction, and reconciliation and healing services.
  • Silence is maintained between individuals so that each retreatant has time and space to connect deeply with God.
  • Types of retreats included in this category include Men's Weekends, Women's Weekends, Men's Holy Week, Women's Advent, Men & Women's Weekends, Priests, and Women's Mid-Week retreats.
Couples' Weekend Retreats (Preached)
  • Conferences each day are based on the dynamics of Ignatian spirituality; there are fewer conferences offered during a couples' retreat than during a regular weekend retreat.
  • Time between conferences is to be used by each couple to discuss and pray together about what was brought up in conferences.
  • Silence is maintained between different couples so that each couple  has time and space to connect deeply with God and with each other.
  • The weekend includes daily Mass, periods for private reflection and devotions, spiritual direction, healing services, and "date" activities to encourage couples to connect with each other.
12-Step Recovery Weekend Retreats (Preached)
  • Conferences are grounded in the 12-Steps.

  • The weekend includes the various activities listed above in the Weekend Retreats section and an opportunity for a 12-Step meeting.

Summer Directed Retreats (Directed)
  • Each retreatant meets daily with an assigned personal spiritual director.
  • 4-day, 5-day, and 8-day directed retreats are available.
  • There is a $30 fee for a massage during the summer directed retreats.

If you have to cancel your reservation for a retreat, please let the office know as soon as possible.  This enables us to contact those on our waiting list.

Also, if you would like to bring someone on short notice, please call the office to make sure a room is available.
